On September 20, 2025, the Rotary Club of Calcutta Jadavpur proudly participated in the International Coastal Cleanup Day at Sagar Island, West Bengal. This important cause also received significant media attention, with DD News Bangla covering the event to help spread the message to a wider audience. We also collaborated with the National Centre for Coastal Research (NCCR), highlighting a unified effort to protect our coastline. Our Immediate Past President, Rtn. Dr. Mainak Sengupta took the lead in this project. We are proud to contribute to this impactful and vital cause.
