Our Rotary Club of Calcutta Jadavpur (RCCJ) organised a vital Thalassemia awareness session at the Mandira Foundation, Bankura. Led by senior scientist Rtn. (Dr.) Chitra Mandal, the program emphasized pre-marital screening to combat high carrier rates in West Bengal. By educating rural families, we are proactively working to break the cycle of hereditary blood disorders.
