At Godapiasal MGM High School Hostel, Rotary Club of Calcutta Jadavpur conducted a Thalassemia awareness initiative for a community of first-generation learners and Scheduled Caste students. Led by Rtn. (Dr.) Chitra Mandal, the session empowered these young men with essential knowledge on hereditary disorders and proactive screening. By educating those poised to become future family heads, we are fostering informed decision-making to break the cycle of Thalassemia in underserved regions.
