Our Rotary Club of Calcutta Jadavpur has started a vocational training program at Sarenga, a rural block in the district of Bankura. Under this program, we are providing training on tailoring to 10 women. We have already purchased 1 sewing machine. We are working to arrange more sewing machines. Upon completion of the program, the trainees are expected to be employable. This initiative is part of our commitment towards womens empowerment and community economic development.
