Our Rotary Club of Calcutta Jadavpur successfully conducted a critical health education session in Sarenga, Bankura. Our distinguished member, Scientist and Professor Dr Chitra Mandal, delivered an essential lecture on the Thalassemia Campaign. This session provided the community with crucial awareness and prevention information regarding the genetic disorder. Six members of our club attended the program, underscoring our commitment to tackling major health issues through expert-led awareness initiatives in rural areas.
